WHAT IS MUDJACKING?
Do you need it?
Mudjacking is a process that hydraulically raises a sunken concrete slab
back to its original position. It is a remarkable and cost effective alternative to replacing uneven concrete. Common applications include concrete steps, driveways, garage aprons, garage floors, patios, pool decks, walkways, and void filling.
Advantages:
- Saves up to 70% over removing and replacing concrete
- Much faster process than replacing concrete slabs with little or no mess
- Removes unsafe trip hazards quickly and conveniently
- Eliminates color mismatch between slabs that occurs with slab replacement
- Will not disrupt your landscape
- Environmentally friendly
Our Process
Our process uses specially designed hydraulic units to inject a grout slurry made of limestone, bentonite, and Portland cement through small, strategically positioned holes drilled into the concrete. The slurry spreads out to fill the voids and cavities of the slab’s foundation, making the sub-soil beneath the concrete compact. The grout slurry itself acts as a hydraulic jack, gently and gradually lifting the concrete to its original level. The base beneath the concrete is once again solid and the problems causing the slab failure have been corrected!
